Our Sweet Princess Baby Girl is growing up.  She is no longer happy just being the cute little sister that follows Parker around... Her favorite activities are dressing like a princess or ballerina, taking care of baby Addison, and playing with any toy that Parker had first while yelling "I nevah get to pway with dat toy!" 

 

She continues to melt her Daddy's heart daily and I'm convinced she knows exactly what she is doing.   She still loves her brother and now calls him "Parky".  One day a week Kate is home with me while her brother is at school and she asks when we can go get him the entire time.  (I'm sure this will change soon enough - for now I'm so glad they are close buddies)

 

Kate is adjusting very well to her new school and has made lots of new friends. The teachers all know her already because of her sweet cherub curls.  

 

 

 

 

You can't catch her often without a tutu or rainboots - necessities for a princess in training.

 

 

 

This day she seriously took my breath away... this was a random Saturday in a Kate chosen outfit and bed head. What a beauty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kate also started Soccer this Fall.  She is no longer a little sister on the sidelines eating snacks.  She loves it, but most of all loves her pink socks and sparkly headband.  That's my girl.  ; )

 

 

 

 

Brad

 

 

 

 

Brad has been a busy worker bee now that he is the sole bread winner/donut maker in our house.  Everyday on his way out the door he says "Gotta go make the donuts" and then me and the kids reply "So we can eat em!"

 

As you can see not only is he a hottie husband... but also very busy and important.  ; )  I do love my man in a suit and striped tie!  Business is good so he is a happy guy these days.

 

Brad has become an avid biker and has all the fancy gear to prove it. He is averaging about 70 miles a week and is peddling a cool 19 MPH (We know this thanks to a super cool phone app.. I don't drive beside him to clock for accuracy ; )

 

Parker has been super into the Colts and Andrew Luck this year and loves to sit by his Daddy during the Colts games and ask about a zillion questions. I think Brad is counting down the days till he can get that sweet boy padded up!

In an attempt to get you updated after my blogging hiatus I'm going to blog updates for the family individually.  Starting with yours truly...

First of all - Yes this is my real hair.. I call it "Hollywood Hair" and it only lasts for about 3 days after I see my fabulous hair guy.

So big one changes... I left my career of 15 years to stay home with my babies.  As you can imagine it was a very hard decision because those of you who know me... know I have always loved my job. However, I also love my babies and husband and found it too hard to find balance.

So... the number one question I get is "Do you like it?"  After 2 weeks I have come to the conclusion that staying home with three small babies is too complicated for that question. I can love it and despise it all within the same 10 minute period.  I also really miss my friends I worked with and am use to seeing every day. That may be the hardest part for a social girl like myself.

However... at the end of the day (and on quiet mornings with all 3 babies on my lap) I am finding a happy peace that makes me feel more blessed and fortunate than I ever thought possible.

I promise to continue to share the truth (the good, bad, and sticky) about what it's like to stay home with an age 4, 2 and 7 mth old.

I'm tring out new titles...  Momgeneer? Domestic Princess? House Boss? hmmmmm.

The Whitworths were here for a visit - I'm so behind in my posting that this baby Erin is toting around is now here in the world! (Welcome Olivia!)
