Random cuteness

P & D enjoying the super bowl from their private ball pit.

I think the shirt says it all

This balloon is left over from his birthday party.... It really is worth the extra .50 for "high float"

Playing peek-a-boo with aunt Karen. (Who pops in sometimes at 7 just to give him a bath) seriously who does that?

Snow Day

Parker and I stayed home today for our first official "SNOW DAY". We even talked daddy into going in at noon so he could enjoy the morning with us. Overall I would call it 12 inches of powdery goodness. I can't wait till this kid can go sledding!

Yum... tastey!

Parker Year 1 Pics

It was picture time again for our handsome boy. He did a great job and we walked away with a lot of good photos. Here our some of our favs. (Check out the shout out to M-town with the tractor)

I have never seen him make this face before but it's pretty cute.

And we had some misses. : )

Beach Baby

Look at these cute little piggies the very first time they got to wiggle in the sand. One of the perks of visiting Marco Island is the fantastic residents beach. Parker loved the sand and hopes to build sandcastles very soon.

Birthday part 2

For Parker's second birthday party my family came to wish him a great 1st year! It was so nice to have so many of his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cousins there to be part of his big day.

This is my cousin Heather. Brian and Heather have a cutie named Bella.

This is my super cute 2nd cousin (I think) Tiffany.

I'm going to take a picture of Parker every year on his birthday in Brad's football jersey. I know my little full back will be filling it out way too soon.

This is the bear cake I made for Parker to smash. Yes, I really did make it.

Here is another cool gift Parker got this year from the Fleeners. He loves it and crawls in it every day.

Tired birthday boy

Parker 1st Birthday Part 1

Parker had two birthday parties this year. Karen, Scott, Jake and Meg came over to celebrate the birthday boy on his big day. There were hats, cake, pizza, and ice cream. They got him a super cool jungle themed ball toy thingy for this play room. It was a BIG HIT and is one of Parker's very favorite toys!

Look at this cute birthday boy!

Aunt Karen

Parker is so lucky to be surrounded by people that love him. Here is a picture of Parker getting his Christmas gift from his Aunt Karen. Parker's eyes light up when she walks into the room and he knows he is going to get smothered with hugs and kisses.

Here is Aunt Karen teaching Parker how to blow kisses.

In case we don't tell you enough - Brad and I really appreciate the help and love you give to us and Parker every day. Good luck in this next stage of your career.

New Years Eve

New Years Eve did not turn out the way that we had planned. Instead of having a nice visit with our friends, the Mitchells, we rushed Parker to the ER due to a severe allergic reaction to peanuts. Needless to say, Jenna and I were both terrified. After several doses of Benadryl, along with steroids through his IV and an injection of epinephrine, our little man was set to return home...at the wee hour of 1:30am....Happy New Year!!!

P.S. Any advice from our dedicated readers regarding peanut allergies would be appreciated. Keep us in your thoughts and don't send Parker any "get well soon" peanut M&Ms.

Christmas Part 2

We spent the actual holiday this year celebrating Christmas - Island style in Florida. We visited Brad's Mom, Dad and Brother Ben for 5 days and enjoyed beautiful 84 degrees and sunny weather. The curse of Brad bringing the rain to the sunshine state has been lifted! Here are some of my favorite pics from the visit. This trip was very special to us because it is when Parker really started to walk.

Christmas Part 1

We had Christmas with my family early this year because we were traveling over the actual Christmas holiday. My sister Kim and her husband Pat hosted this year in their new home. We were overwhelmed with the great gifts that Parker received. A few of his favs are a choo choo train that spits out (or poops out ) balls. A penguin that you can punch or wrestle and a ball that rolls itself around the room. He also loved all boxes, bows, and ribbons. Again... my sister put together a great holiday meal and we're waiting for our next invitation for dinner. : )
