Why Parker is the best big brother ever

I had baby girl at the dr's office a few days ago and the dr was listening to her breathing with the stethoscope. She started to get fussy so Parker took her hand and said "Almost done baby girl. Almost." I cried of course. Such a sensitive little guy when baby Kate is involved.

Parker has just now discovered "eyebrows" and calls them "eyebrowns" with actually makes sense if you think about it. He is obsessed with who/what has them.. and who/what does not. He just asked me if the Lesnet's dog "kiki" has eyebrowns? I told him we would have to check. Do beagles have eyebrows?

We bought baby girl her first spring dress today (in her signature color). I know we are a little early but I have waited my entire life to dress a roly poly baby girl in a sundress (with matching panties) Check out those rolls!

Hehe.. mama was taking pictures and not watching baby girl topple over. (no one was hurt!)

He's Crafty!

P and Kai got together this weekend to make some valentines for some of their buddies. If you are the lucky recipient I should warn you there is glitter involved and I'm now finding it in my car, at work, and in my purse (how did it get in there?)

Stephanie and I always laugh at the differences between our two boys. Notice Parker's paints all smeared together and crazy and Kai'a paints are all in their proper place and used neatly.

How many years can we get by with this before they just want stupid power ranger valentines to hand out?

Potty training update

We were off to a good start with potty training. Parker successfully peed in the potty 2x in one day at school (noted below).

However, today when the teacher told him to finish up his turn on the potty (before he was ready).... he got mad and threw his pants in the potty (we have a long road ahead of us.)
