First Annual Kids Christmas Party

The kids first Christmas party was last weekend and it exceeded our expectations. There were roughly 12 toddlers, 6 babies, 3 party helpers, and a slue (that's a word right?) of adults!

Here is big girl Ava being very patient and showing Kate the fine art of staying in the lines. (This moment kind of took my breath away, so weird to walk in a room and see Kate acting like more of a big kid than a baby)

This is a picture of the "Reindeer Games" hosted by Karen... mostly a chance for the kids (and adults) to get their wiggles out.

Parachute games were a BIG hit! Shout out to the Mitchells for loaning us such a fun toy! Parker has asked to play "parachute" every day since.

Pretty firecracker Delaney - this is a girl in charge! I'm loving the way she rocks some hair accessories.

One station for the kiddos was a cookie decorating area. My 72 cutout cookies came pre cut and ready to bake from Gordons Food Service - best tip ever (thank you Karen) They were also tasty. : )
Next time I attempt this I will prefrost the cookies... My kid just wanted to dip his spreader in the icing and lick it off. (The apple does not fall far from the tree.) My helper in this photo is Karen's oldest Jake - He is one of Parker's very favorite people and did a great job at the cookie station making sure all sprinkles were shared and all little chubby hands got washed.

The second station was a craft area that was headed up by Meg (Karen's youngest) Meg is also one of Parker's favorite people and it is very easy to see why she is such a hit with all the kids. She did a great job of supervising the crafts ensuring all names were on the snowflake ornaments and all glue pens stayed off our couch. : )

Here is Parker dancing with his first true love Lila... ahww first slow dance. Too cute for words.

And finally here is a picture of the two hosts waiting for their guests to arrive rocking 2 super cute new shirts that were a gift from the Mitchells. Seriously - am I the only mom out there that thinks her kids are so cute, I could sop them up with a biscuit!

A special thanks to Karen, Meg, and Jake for all their help with the party and after. (When everyone left they helped clean up, bathed the kids and put them to bed) We Love us some Pinsons!
