Curly Boy

Brad is in charge of P's haircuts... and by the looks of his locks, Brad has been busy. I love how curly his mop top gets when it's even a little humid out. I promise we will cut it before he grows a mullet, rat tail, or looks like Ryder Hudson (pre hair cut).

Baby Girl 6 mths

Kate is doing great! Here are her 6 month stats:

HT: 27 1/4 (90th %)

WT 19 lbs 10 oz (95th %)

Basically a big girl... and a truly beautiful baby. We are so lucky to be your Mom and Dad

show and tell

Parker took Kate as his "show and tell" this week. The letter of the week was "k". She was a big hit and Parker was very proud to show her off to his friends.

I can't wait to bring this up years from now when he is mad at her for following him around and trying to crash his fort.

Baby girl had ear tubes put in this morning and is comfortably sleeping in her crib. It was a hard night due to the fact that 6 month old babies do not understand why they can't eat after midnight.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. We are hoping this helps baby girl feel much better.

What my Mom taught me

1. You don't need money to have what you need
2. If you throw a fit on the field when you miss a play, your Mom can bench you
3. Make friends with girls that have cute clothes (that wear your size)
4. When you make a commitment you have to finish it
5. When you are grounded.. it means from everything. Even King's Island
6. It's never to late to reinvent yourself
7. Do whatever you need to do to take care of your kids
8. You are just one person
9. Tomorrow is another day
10. To let my kids make mistakes (and not bail them out)
