Tubes

Brad and I heard that middle ear ventilation tubes were the newest fashion for all toddlers this fall so we decided to jump on board! After a month long ear infection and over 3 rounds of antibiotics we decided to schedule our little man for the procedure.

The morning started with an arrival time of 7 AM. The hard part for P was no eating of drinking after midnight the night before. (Our kid wakes up asking for milk). Everything went very smooth and the ENT mentioned he was starting yet another ear infection - UGH!

Parker was very brave and a trooper thru the whole morning. He had the nurses all swooning over his goldy locks and cuteness. It was a little scary when he was coming out of the anesthesia but I think it will all be worth it. After a 2.5 hour nap he was back to our lovable little guy.

This picture was taken just a bit ago. As you can see he is recovering just fine. : )

This is the loot Parker scored with a quick trip to Target after being such a brave boy and not crying when the nurses took him from my arms. (Truly the hardest part!) Parker has an obsession right now with Pumpkins and most of all "Burp & Eanie" (Is he the only kid that does not prefer Elmo?)

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.
